With the piano at the center of his work, he explores neoclassical sonorities combined with elements of electronic and chamber music. His latest albums, Ecos (2026) and Piano Reveries (2023), are the result of this sonic exploration, blending the art of piano performance with sampling and sound design as boundless sources of sound. As an arranger, Meza has worked extensively in music production, contributing to a Latin Grammy Award–winning album with Julieta Venegas. From modern classical to experimental soundscapes. My research has always been naturally related to a cinematographic character. After a long time searching far and wide, I found a precious treasure very close to me, The Tonada. Nowadays it accompanies me wherever I go on my musical journeys, always experimenting new forms of expresions. Tonada is a style of traditional Chilean music, mainly related to singing, based on ternary rhythms. It is generally presented in a calm and melancholic state (Andante) and in its development it gradually acquires a more rhythmic quality. It started to be performed 200 years ago in the Chilean countryside, at parties and also in pagan contexts.
