Same note 100 times is a summary of my piano work of the last 12 years. From modern classical to experimental soundscapes.

My research has always been naturally related to a cinematographic character. After a long time searching far and wide, I found a precious treasure very close to me, The Tonada.

Nowadays it accompanies me wherever I go on my musical journeys, always experimenting new forms of expresions.

Tonada is a style of traditional Chilean music, mainly related to singing, based on ternary rhythms. It is generally presented in a calm and melancholic state (Andante) and in its development it gradually acquires a more rhythmic quality. It started to be performed 200 years ago in the Chilean countryside, at parties and also in pagan contexts. Now I am fulfilling the task of bringing this musical language to a free state of instrumental expression with the piano.
