MARCOS MEZA

Born in Santiago. Based in Brandenburg.

Initially known as the keyboard player for the rap, jazz and rock band Como Asesinar a Felipes (CAF), Meza has simultaneously forged a career as a composer of incidental & chamber music and music for media, which over the years has brought him closer to the field of film scoring. As he himself describes, it’s music for the "synchronization of existing or non-existent elements". Also a producer and arranger, Meza’s incessant bond with musicians of different genres (pop, hip hop, modern jazz, modern classical, ambient & sound design) has marked a creative versatility in him, that has further grown during his years living in Germany.
